Kolbano beach or island seems to have become the prima donna and main attraction for visitors who want to visit Kupang city and explore Timor Island, how about a sight that is so beautiful and attractive that you may close your eyes for its beauty, it used to be Kolbano beach, which used to be deserted, now it is turning around and it is well known by foreign tourists because the existence of this beach is reported in many TV channel programs and also by the users of the social networks from many countries who are enthusiasts of natural beauty. Kolbano Beach Tourism is located in Kolbano Village, Kec. Kolbano, Central South Timor. The distance is about 135 km from Kupang city center and takes about 4 hours. This coastal city is a tourist destination for its uniqueness. What makes many people curious is the expanse of pebbles that look colorful and very beautiful. This myth or myth that has been around for centuries is the tale “Bi Kabin”. This story is about a human girl named Bi Kabin who married a sea king (Na' Besimnasi = crocodile). It is said that in ancient times, the Bi Kabin family and the villagers performed certain annual rituals on this beach to preserve nature and the kinship with Na' Besimnasi. Thanks to the king of the sea, Kolbano beach is always rich in fish that are easy to catch without destroying the beach. Its location close to the city makes it easy for many tourists to visit Kolbano beach. This beach looks stunning and fascinating due to the beautiful colored stones on the beach. It looks beautiful not only because of the black and white sand but also because of the rocks or Fatu Un which is the hallmark of this tourist spot. It is no wonder that many tourists from out of town or even foreigners are so interested in visiting it even though it is far away.
