Soda water baths in North Tapanuli, Indonesia, only exist in the world

Tarutung soda water baths are known for their sparkling water as a refreshing drink. The water is almost uniformly red. When you dive, your body is automatically surrounded by foam. In the Batak language, "Aek" means water while "Rara" means red. The sparkling water at this tourist attraction is not only unique, it is also said to have various properties ranging from softening the skin to curing itchy skin. Soda water is also believed to cure itching, rheumatism, and gout. The purity of the water is always maintained here because the soda water continues to flow from the spring and spills over into the rice fields around the camp. Visitors also enjoy the views of the expanse of rice fields and a wide row of Bukit Barisan, as well as the fresh air.
