island of ancient animals, especially if it's not KOMODO island

Komodo Island is included in the list of one of the 7 wonders of the world. This exotic island has become a local and international tourist attraction. As the name suggests, the Komodo islands are a breeding ground for rare animals, namely the Komodo dragon. The following is a description of this interesting tourist spot. National parks are areas protected by biodiversity that can be visited by tourists.
There are many national parks in Indonesia, one of which is the Komodo National Park. This national park has three main islands namely Komodo Island, Rinca Island and Padar Island. There are also small islands like Gili Motang Island and Nusa Kode Island. It is undeniable that the island of Komodo with its Pink Beach continues to be an attraction for tourists visiting NTT. However, in NTT there are several other tourist objects that are no less beautiful. For those of you who want to take a vacation in NTT but think that entering Komodo National Park is too expensive, here are some other tourist objects worth visiting. The locals killed many of these animals. But in 1915 the Dutch government prohibited the action.
Finally, in 1980, the government established the Komodo National Park to protect the natural habitat of this endangered species. Komodo National Park covers a land area of 173,000 hectares in terms of land and water. The goal is to preserve the life of the Komodo dragon and its natural environment. After that, it was developed to simultaneously promote tourism in this area. According to 2018 data, there are around 2,800 Komodo dragons in the tourist spots on Komodo Island. In addition to the Komodo dragon, there are at least 25 protected animal species. Some of these animals are the little sulphur-crested cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea), blue-lipped viper (Trimeresurus albolabris), giant manta rays (Manta birostris) and wild horses (Equus ferus).
