As quoted in the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy's official broadcast on Friday, Wae Rebo Resort Village is located in the remote mountains of Satar Lenda Village, West Satar Mese District, Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara. This holiday village has a unique potential. The tourist village of Wae Rebo, which is located at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, is often referred to as a paradise above the clouds. Other than that, this village also has 7 traditional houses that have become icons of Wae Rebo, namely the cone-shaped Mbaru Niang. Each house is also equipped with a kitchen in the middle of the house with the number of stoves according to the number of families. Each family cooks on a different stove. In Wae Rebo there is a special house called the Main House. This house is occupied by 8 heads of family. The main building is the house where guests are received. Here, guests are greeted with a traditional ceremony in the Manggarai language. Visitors are accommodated at Mbaru Niang for invitees only. Here guests live together with other guests. In addition to the unique way of life of its inhabitants, this town has a very beautiful natural charm. The air in this town is very cool and fresh.
