This waterfall is a natural tourist object in Tinggiran Hilir Village, Jorong Litter Betung, Sungai Aur District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This tourist attraction is not well known by the general public due to its remote location and access to the place is very difficult. Litter Betung is about 10 km from the center of Sungai Aur district and it takes about 1 hour to reach the site. PLN electricity only entered this area at the end of 2015 and a paved road is currently being built. It is hoped that with the construction of this road, the West Pasaman Regional Government can support the tourist attraction of Sampuran Betung Coolness when we are in this place. Usually, visitors to this place only come from the surrounding community, especially young people and children who only come during the day to enjoy the view or take a bath in general. The river water, which is about 15 meters wide, is still beautiful and uncontaminated, so it can be used as a bathing and refreshment place without hesitation. Sampuran prayer is also used as a place for family picnics, especially during Idul Fitri. Large families often come in groups with supplies like lemang, dodol, Eid cookies and don't forget to bring baking garnishes. The family eats together or is often called Markela in mandailing, the local language. Apart from its own advantages, Sampuran Betung animal tourism also has a dangerous drawback during the rainy season. During the rainy season, the river's water will overflow, it is feared that it will endanger visitors, especially children. But so far this has never happened because the children in this area are used to nature. Children are often shy and do not go to the river during the rainy season and parents are always ready to remind their children.
